Irene has a degree in social sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a law degree from the University of California. She is a practicing attorney and certified teacher of English as a foreign language.

Stephen has a degree in languages from University College, London and a degree in law from City University, London. The Director of Loquitur, based in London, he is a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language and provides specialized training in British Legal English for LEI.

Jay has a degree in English from Stanford University, a Master's degree in English from Marquette Unviersity, a Master's dregree in Theatre from the Universtiy of Washington, and a law degree from the University of San Francisco.  He is an experienced civil litigator and legal textbook editor, and has taught English as a Second Language since 1991.
