Your lawyers continue to work while improving their Legal English skills.

LEI provides:

  • One or two fully qualified Lawyer Language Instructors who will travel from California, U.S.A. and/or London, U.K. to your city

  • Instructors who are native English speakers, experienced lawyers, and qualified language instructors

  • Intensive, small-group instruction in Legal English 3 hours per day

  • One-week or two-week program – see Plans for complete details

  • Original materials and exercises prepared for each course – see Subjects offered.

  • A specially-designed course if your company has special needs

  • American or British English, or both

  • LEI Certificate of Completion for students who attend all class sessions and complete all assignments

Your company provides:

  • Participants with general English skills at the High Intermediate to Advanced level.  By special arrangement, a class might be possible for lawyers with lower level English.

  • A minimum of 6 students (Or an agreement to pay an Instruction Fee for that minimum.)

  • An appropriate place for the class to meet.

  • Payment for instruction.  See Fees for more information.

  • Payment for the cost of instructors’ transportation and suitable accommodation.

  • Free access for instructors to the Internet and to a printer

  • Printouts and/or photocopying and assembly of materials to be distributed to students

You choose:

  • Class size:  small (2-6 participants, one instructor) or large (7-12 participants, two instructors)

  • Homework included or no homework assignments

  • USA only:  Field trip to observe live courtroom or no field trip
